The TraceCut digitizing Board has an electrical grid inside of it, by pushing the tip of the pen it sends and accurate X Y point to the computer and the Software changes it to a DXF file

With Tracecut you will trace the templates or part and take the part that you have traced onto normal paper and place this onto the tracecut board. Once you have done this, you follow the contours with shortcut commands of straight lines and arcs and circles.

This part is then transferred into any Cad Drawing, which enables you to re-size warn sections or holes of the original part. Once this is done the dxf file is generated and your normal procedure of nesting and cutting can follow. This entire process has eliminated the tedious task of measure, draw, measure draw etc. This is a huge frustration saving, but more importantly, a huge time and cost saving.

This tracing possibility allows you to increase your customer base, as you are increasing your efficiency from drawing to cutting.

Available sizes for these boards range from 44×60″ (110x150cm) down to 12×12″ (30x30cm) and boards can be connected for larger patterns. The average time reduction of complex parts from drawing of parts to dxf is 90% faster.
